Green Energy is not just about solar or wind energy, it also has to do with alternative fuels and using sustainable practices. This is a great business model for small and medium sized restaurants.

what a cool idea! It saves money and the environment for these guys. Businesses are rethinking and becoming creative in how they can go green and save money.

Interesting idea. A couple questions from me: How much time does it take to create the fuel by filtering and straining and are those costs accounted for? Does the van also run on diesel after the modifications to run on the alternative fuel? If not, you would be limited to short trips to make sure that you could return to your restaurant to re-fuel.

Businesses taking these steps should really promote their efforts strongly. I doubt that they would lose a single customer for being green, but I know they would gain a lot of customers because they are.I've gotta eat and I would prefer to eat at establishments that are eco-friendly.
